Contengan

Last Thursday was a holiday and UKM was like Silent Hill. Most of the students had already went home except for some stubborn ones, haha. And that included me, heh.

So to capitalize the chance of cuti and possibility of not many people expected at the city, we went to KLCC. So pumped up to go since it's one of the places of interest that i have no memory of it. After arriving and surveying the shops inside, it's clear why students don't like to flock KLCC. It's not a student attraction to be honest. All are expensive-high end-luxurious shop.

 Ini pun cantik juga.

 The camera is too small.

The only things that may interest the students uni type are... wayang, foodcourt, watsons, kinokuniya. And maybe Petrosains (because it is the cheapest amongst Skybridge-Aquarium-Petrosains.) But don't have arcade station. Boring.

I love the food court. The reasons are simple- it is clean, attractive, reasonable price (bagi saya orang loqstaq, ia tetap mahai) and most importantly...SEDAP SUNGGUH. There I found the best ever nasi ayam i had ever taste. And i really mean it. One day if I accidentally stand up there in the food court again I will makan nasi ayam tu lagi. Serious sedap. Oh my God sedapnya.

Best ever nasi ayam.

Kinokuniya. The mother of all bookstores in Malaysia. MPH-Borders-Popular boleh duk diam2. This is the real deal. Last time i went inside was...10 years ago I think. So much had been said about Kinokuniya and yes it didn't disappoint me. Instead, it surprised me badly. Why? Because I strongly believe that you can find almost any book you want there. Novel? Fiction? Literature? History? Philosophy? War? Bibliography? Children books? Semuanya ada. Siapa ada ruangan majalah dari Jepun. And there the first time I saw the infamous Shonen Jump. I was actually surprised of it's thickness. Tebal woi. I thought it was more like Kreko.

Oh one super happy reason at Kinokuniya is... I found the book I'd been searching for in the past 4 years. Musashi, written by Eiji Yoshikawa. This legendary best-seller is the original reference/inspiration to Vagabond, the most stylish graphic novel-manga which is created by Takehiko Inoue. It's a deep and full of philosophies. Philosophies of life, struggle and inner peace. All those philosophies are Buddhism-oriented. So extremists sekalian, sila haramkan manga Vagabond ini. After gaining permission from my father only I bought the book. It's too expensive. Don't feel right if didn't ask for permission first. Thanks abah.

The entrance. From Google search.

Me with my capture. Try to guess the price.

After all the eating-movieing-kinokuniyaing we went to the park below. And...I don't feel safe there. Got 3,4 thugs each been holding Samsung Galaxy Note and keep coming to any passerby and offering it. You imagine this- brader indon/myammar/siam/akutatau dengan rambut gaya samseng kaler2, pakai rantai leher, gelang lengan, dressing mcm samseng, ada walkie talkie. Muka pecah rumah habis. Mau?" Seriously I don't feel safe if there are people like that around me. What if i accidentally went to a secluded area, then he roger his member (using walkie-talkie) to do some business with me? Paksa beli ke, atau lagi teruk he robbed me of my sling bag stuffed with camera and wallet. Ottoke? So, prevention is much safer. We took some pictures and went straight into the mall. My conclusion- Putrajaya gardens are the best. Beautiful, soothing, clean, safe. SAFE.

One of the reasons why i planned to go to KLCC was to try the pink coloured GoKL bus. The famous free bus service for anyone. The very one reason why taxis bradah emo and mengamuk. Let me tell you a bit about GoKL. This service was first operational on the end of last August. It has 2 main routes. Green route and Pink route. Each route will make a track circle of it's own and will be connected with each other at 3,4 points. Oh forgot pula, those two routes all passed places of interest such as KLCC, Times Square, KL Tower, Pavillion, Bukit Bintang and so on. With it being free of charge, it really a treat to the people. What more, with free WiFI lagi. All hail BN! All hail Najib!!

The routes.

The Bus.

We stopped at Pavillion, snap some pictures and pray Maghrib there. Oh yeah i was a bit unlucky, there were no more budak2 baru nak up lepak kat tangga besar Pavillion tu. Maybe the authorities had kill them off, I don't know. Whatever, 2 things caught my attention there. 1- Surau. It feels very luxurious and high class. 2- Japan Corner at the top level. Very Japanese like style of shops. Designs, concept, everything. Even the toilet lor. Haha. Still got no arcade station. Boring. Oh talked about surau. The best surau in a mall goes to...KLCC. Very spacious, comfortable and tak dampy. So much win.

Can't find any of these girls on that day.

We arrived at UKM station around 830pm and it was raining badly. So bad that the 3 junction at the taxi stop was badly flooded and there you go, a temporary river. Strong water flow that make all the aweks berdiri tepi saja. Cannot move anywhere, truly trapped. It's bad and the pihak berkuasa should feel bad. Not wanting to waste time, we opened our shoes, lipat2 seluar and cross the river. Someone was so happy crossing it. She said she never played flood before. Haha kesian...

Aih i don't know what more to write.Planned to write a simple and short one and combined with some stories from weekend mini gathering at rumah Din. Just want to practice my english writing skills. Nevermind, next time la.

Football- Luis Suarez

Lama dah tak tulis pasal bola. Asyik2 benda yang serius dan merapu, kali ni terasa nak tulis pasal sorang brader gigi arnab ni. Luis Suarez.

Key words- Luis Suarez. Tricky dribbler. Racist. Dive. Witch-hunt.

Who the hell is Luis Suarez?

Luis Suarez. Rabbit Guy.

Ok siapa tak kenal Luis Suarez? Pergi terjun loji Indah Water sekarang juga. Mana2 football fans yang tak kenal Suarez, memang mau kena ketuk kepala 16 kali sambil menari gangnam style. Ok, sedikit introduksi. Then, he get recruited to join Groningen (Netherland). Bertambah power, Ajax Asterdam pulak beli dia.

The Controversies

Sebagai 1 of trillions of football fans in the world, tipu la kalau kata tak pernah dengar label 'Suarez Diver' ni. So, the biggest problem/label yang melekat kat dahi Suarez ni adalah tak lain dan tak bukan- he's a cheat.

I as one of millions of Liverpool fans, had to confessed that he is a diver. Sometimes he dived, sometimes he didn't. Oh one more thing I don't like about him- his over theatherical sakit nak mampus bila kena contact sikit saja. Yes contact ada, tapi dia punya guling guling guling tu....ehrmarrgerd. Macam kena combo juggle dalam Tekken.

Seriously, lawak jugak sebenarnya dia ni.

Benda yang hitam, kita sebut hitam. Putih, kita sebut putih. Yes, he dived. But people often to close their eyes when dia kena hentam siku/tackle belakang/push dari belakang/maki kaw2 padahal dia tak kata apa pun oleh opponent players (especially defenders). Banyak insiden2 atas tu terjadi, yang paling latest adalah kes time lawan Norwich yang mana dalam kotak penalty, dia kena siku kepala then kena stone-cold stunner dengan sorang defender tu. Muay-thai and wrestling combo! And satu lagi, time lawan Stoke (which is his latest dive art happened) dia juga kena pijak kat dada secara kool dan composed oleh opponent defender. Referee? Dia Suarez, dia tipu!

And so he was vilified and made as football's no.1 enemy. Pakcik FIFA nr 2 kata Suarez is a cancer to football. Konscielny pun join sekaki mengutuk suarez padahal kalau korang baca statement dia tu, it's very normal la bila striker lawan bola dengan defender. Tony Pulis branded him a cheat (dalam kes ni, agak valid), dan paling best sekali, Otai Mafia ManU branded Suarez as a football public enemy (padahal waktu tu Suarez ni baru setahun sampai England).

The Latest Dive Collection. The worst.

Maka bermula lah legasi #BlameSuarez. Bermula lah satu pemburuan ahli sihir...

The Infamous Suarez's Hand-of-God

Satu dunia mula melabel Suarez sebagai penipu/jahat/keji masa match quarter final World Cup 2010- Ghana vs Uruguay. That match, i didn't watched it. So, main pun kat Afrika, of kos satu stadium (dan dunia amnya) akan support Ghana.

Pada minit extra time dah, score terikat 1-1. Ghana tengah attack gila2 punya. Ghana mengamuk. Stadium mengamuk. Audience semua mengamuk. Reff kasi red card kat Suarez. Ghana dapat penalty. Assamoah Gyan amik penalti, kena palang. Ghana frust menonggeng, Uruguay lega. Suarez kat tepi padang, celebrate sebab team dia selamat.

So, majority people bashed Suarez as unprofessional. Cheater. Selfish. Bad footballer. But for me, it's the different story. He is a sacrificing hero. Yes he block the ball with his hands. It's a foul, a blatant foul that demand a red card and a penalty to the opponent. And yes indeed he was red-carded and Ghanna did get a penalty. So, it's a situation that follow the rules correctly. He knew he would be sent-off. Instead, he was crying as he walked off the pitch. He knew that he had just given a little lifeline to his team and his country. And amazingly, the penalty was not in. It's a big misfortune to Ghana and vice versa, it's a big big relief to Suarez and his countrymen. That's why he celebrated like hell. As a punishment to his red card, he rightfully was not allowed to play in the semifinal, in which they lost to Netherlands by 3-2. Pundits said that Uruguay lacked the tricky skills and gameplay from Suarez during that lost. End of story.

So, what's the big deal with that handball?

Kawan2, cuba letak diri anda pada situasi tu. Ok la, Malaysia lawan Ghana time tu. Skor 1-1. Bola atas kepala anda, sikit lagi nak masuk gol. Nanti aku kena brand cheater selamanya!" ? Saya pasti, waktu tu cuma ada "win at all cost".

So, i feel disgusted at these commentators/viewers in these videos which slated him heavily because of his handball action. Yes it's a bad thing and poor Ghana but guys, put yourself in both situation then only you can see it in bigger picture.

Racism

So, dengan kes World Cup dan serial diver label yang dia dapat melekat kat dahi dia, hidupnya di Liverpool sentiasa panas dengan media. Media really loves this guy. He is the lubuk emas. Want to sell more copies? Print stories about Suarez! Want to get more views online? Put Suarez as the headline!

And the worst off all the labels, is racist. All thanks to Patrice Evra of ManU. Lots of debates had been done..but for me, he just say the Negrito words in a different cultural meaning. Senang cerita, it's no big deal for him yang membesar kat tempat lain, but it was blown to proportion by Evra. And thus Ferguson slated him, the media started bashing him... I don't believe in Evra. Dia sendiri ada rekod buat cerita kononnya Chelsea staff serang/kutuk dia waktu satu match kat Stamford Bridge dulu, then baru tahu itu semua tuduhan rekaan dia saja. Lagi satu, dia juga kepala kepada player France yang mogok time World Cup 2010. Finally, tengok la video ni. Kalau dia betul2 innocent and mangsa, tak perlu untuk dia provok teruk.

Oh satu comment yang best. "Evra is a fucking cunt. First off he accuses Suarez of racism for using a non racist word, and lies about the amount of times he used it. If he wasn't a spineless coward he would have a quiet word with Luis after the game, or a word with Gerrard. Then, after he got Suarez banned for 8 games he has the audacity to lower his hand as Suarez walks past, Suarez may or may not have shook it, but it was lowered anyway, then he grabs Suarez' arm to accuse him!!! Scum, Manc cunt."

Fuh dahsyat. But it didn't end there..

Who's Racist Now?

4 game sahaja! Walaupun evidence video ada. Oh yeah he's English, he's captain of England...

Media? Tak label dia seteruk Suarez. Bukti? Gambar ini pun dah cukup. See the bias there.

Spot the bias.

Bale, Young, Wellbeck, but why always Suarez? Yeah he's not english...he's a foreigner...

Sekadar renungan. David Gill, a member of FA board, juga adalah chief executive bagi ManU. So, can figure out sendiri kot why all the witch hunt against Suarez, why Fergie always get special treatment, why some referees are mysteriously being excluded from refereeing ManU matches, why ManU players always seem to get off from any disciplinary actions-media bashing.

Just Walk On!

Apapun, konklusi yang boleh dibuat adalah...

1. Suarez memang sometimes dive dan exagerated foul. Tapi where the equal treatment gone, i don't know.
2. Suarez is one bendul/jujur player. He did whatever needed to do for his country and club.
4. ManU ada orang dalam kat FA. So, any scheming is not impossible.

David Gill. The mole inside FA.

Untuk Liverpool, Suarez is the best and enigmatic striker. Sometimes he's just lacklustre, but most of the times he is the magician.

Long Live Liverpool! Yenuwa!

Reincarnation

There was once a joke that sound like this,

"Dear God please take Rihanna, Bieber and Nicki Minaj and return to us Kurt Cobain, Freddie and Elvis"

Well, it is just a joke. Can't be real, right?

Not anymore.

Because Freddie had returned. In shape of a more handsome looking white guy with no gigi kuda and his name is Nate Reuss. A singer in the band that is famous for their sing along hits 'We Are Young'. Don't believe it? Ok listen to this Queen's song,

Finish?

Ok now listen to Fun 'Some Nights'

Anyway, they both sound the same. Very identical to each other. Not to mention, that this is only the first album of Fun. They are relatively young and new, they still can improve and create greater songs. At last, faith in humanity- restored. Something to look forward rather than the stupid american famous genre. You know, the bling2 nigger in MTV, the Bieber stereotype and Minaj and so on...

So gonna sit back and enjoy their album. Yeah downloaded version. Cannot afford to buy original one.Gonna let this new Freddie amuse me.

And maybe, just maybe, God will answer the rest of the prayer? New Elvis, new Kurt Cobain? Hahaha just keep on wishing bro.

Bekerja dan Membuka Mata

Pengalaman bekerja. Saya ni, dah berumur 23 tahun baru ada 1st pengalaman bekerja. Oh sebelum ni ada, tapi terlalu singkat. Just tiga hari untuk program susu. Travel guna lori, distribute susu kat certain2 area. Yes itu cerita lama~

Back to the main story.

I know that i'm a bit ketinggalan zaman, but that's me.

Kedai Kasut MG. Kedai2 lain majoritinya nak gadis2. I know, sex sells.

Masa kerja adalah amat terhad, sebab dia tak perlukan sangat pekerja tambahan. Awalnya cuma Sabtu dan Ahad jam 8-10 malam. Lepas 2 kali macam tu, everyday dari pukul 8-10. Bila last two weeks sebelum raya, she (the store manager) wants me to come earlier at Saturday and Sunday, which will be 12pm-10pm. Sounds plenty rite, but believe me, tak lama pun.

Bidang tugas? The usual promoter dalam kedai. Customer datang, ikut dia ke mana kasut dia berkenan, layan soalan dia, carikan kasut yang dia mahukan, then kalau dia nak beli terus bawak kasut tu ke kaunter. Done. Sounds simple, but actually renyah jugak. Apa yang renyah? Ok bahagian mencari saiz. Sebab apa? Sebab saya orang baru. Tak tahu sangat position kasut2 sekian2 dalam stor. Beberapa kali kena marah ngan manager, biasa la tu...

Anyway, bila dah kerja yang serve customer, memang dapat lah serba sedikit faham kerenah customer. Ada 3 level customer. The orang susah- the moderate- the kaya.

Sangat besar....or, maybe it's just me thinking it's really big. Anyway, ia memang menguntungkan.

Why? Let's put an example. At the shop, there are 5 sales promoter. In just one day (ini waktu nak raya ok, sila amik perhatian), one promoter can sell shoes up to RM1200 averagely. So, times 5, you got 6000 in one day. In one month? Wow wow wow~

One more thing, saya makin buka mata dengan keadaan sekeliling. Big boss adalah chinese. He's a very humble man. Carikan kasut, tolong pakaikan kasut. Very humble and a very good example for us. And that makes me more curious, and realize,

That chinese really know how to do business.

Ekonomi Malaysia dipegang mereka." Thus, meningkatkan lagi semangat saya untuk membaca The Malay Dilemma.

I worked there...kejap saja. Kalau ikut full time punya jam, tak sampai seminggu pun. So...saya dan kawan2 selalu berebut customer kaya2. Untung2 dapat jual Scholl sepasang dua, Dr Cardin sepasang dua, haha.

Well, saya bersyukur sebab dapat jugak bekerja sementara masih lagi student, biarpun part time, dan agak lambat, haha. Alhamdulillah.
